About my passions, my goals.

I've recently graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, having earned my M.S. in Instructional Technology, and I'm currently exploring career opportunities in the fields of instructional technology, instructional design, website development and e-Learning.

My experience and education have provided me with ample experience utilizing various face-to-face and cloud-based solutions to ascertain and deliver training and technological support to a variety of adult learning audiences, while adhering to research-based theories and practices - such as the ADDIE framework - that support the best learning outcomes.

I have developed several competencies through practical work I did while obtaining my Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology. In particular, I was afforded an opportunity as a graduate assistant to create and maintain the departmental websites for the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and to furthermore conduct training sessions for varied faculty and staff members on the best usage of different website creation and media delivery tools. I was also a member of an instructional design team that developed a complete HTML5 training solution for a company's national volunteer workforce, which was designed to be accessible via both desktop and mobile platforms. During this time, I further developed my skills with the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and solutions from various learning management and content management providers such as Articulate, Drupal and Moodle.

Ultimately, I am interested in applying and supporting software technologies such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Blackboard, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and the evolving cloud-based and web 2.0 tools in order to meet instructional goals and objectives. Having worked within the University of Tennessee's College of Education, I am aware of current and future training challenges related to university faculty and administration technology skill development.

This website is an effort at showcasing my expertise, and to likewise demonstrate the capabilities of responsive website design; in other words, my ePortfolio is optimized for viewing on a myriad of devices, so go ahead and view this on a mobile device and enjoy the ride.
